• Type 03 - Alnico 2: Darker colored sound
• Type 04 - Alnico 5: Rectangular single pole piece per string - unexposed magnets only
• Type 4A - Alnico 5: 1/4"OD magnet - single pole piece per string
• Type 05 - Alnico 5: Low impedance version of Type 4
• Type 5A - Alnico 5: Low impedance version of Type 4A
• Type 07 - Alnico 3: Mid-range sounding - not usually recommended for bass
